My dear diva friend, Alicia Katz, hosted a Diva In U party for her friends last Wednesday, May 24th. She was decked out in her Diva tee, Diva bling belt and boa! She poured her delicious wine and champagne and a chardonnay from John Christopher Cellars. Guests sampled a decadent chocolate torte while browsing the new arrivals from kenzie, melie bianco and our own Livermore bling babe, Marbela's Buckles. A portion of the night's sale proceeds were donated to The Taylor Family Foundation. Alicia sweetie...you're a class act!

What better reason to have a Coffee Break than to celebrate a Grand Opening? That's exactly what happened at Diva In U, the latest fashion boutique in Livermore!! Owner Linda Ellis (just above the 101.7 on the banner) proudly showed off her inventory - lots of gorgeous outfits for fashion forward individuals!! Stop by and visit the shop on the corner of Railroad and South Livermore!! Congrats on all your hard work, Linda!!

How cool is that? We had a fab time on Friday, April 28th, but I didn't get a "woo-hoo" out of Glen!

Diva In U kicked off with a private preview party held on Saturday,
March 25th. Family and friends sipped on champagne and
feasted on curry chicken salad wraps while checking out the latest
spring designs from BCBGirls, kenzie, kenziegirl, Anna Paul,
Lucky Chick and Trina Turk, Streets Ahead and the SAK to name
a few. Twenty percent of the night's sale proceeds went to Tri-
Valley Haven, a local shelter assisting battered women and their
children.

Diva delayed

It looks like Diva In U's grand opening is delayed until February. The space is just not ready! Don't worry...it's worth the wait. I have a lot of gorgeous things coming in and am sure I will find more fabulous stuff. In the meantime, I uncovered a jewelry diva in Pleasanton. Sheri Cleary designs sterling silver and swarvorski crystal earrings, necklaces and bracelets. I ordered some custom pieces to complement the clothes. How clever! I have a few more jewelry designers to check out. Semi-precious gems anyone?
